Shed.....New Camera!!

I am so excited for Christmas because I am getting the coolest camera! I am going to have to mess around with it for a while to get the hang of it, but here is a picture of Natalie that she let me take of her even though she didn't think she was ready for a photo shoot.

Matt has been working on a building a shed for his friend Tagg's parents. He never ceases to amaze me with all he knows. Here are some pictures from the progress they have had over the past week.

Anyone need their doors painted???

My mom has been wanting Matt to paint some of the doors in the house for a while, but with Matt gone working in Las Vegas he hasn't had time. Last week he took a day, and got all 21 doors that my mom picked out. I didn't know how he was going to do them all, but of course he surprised me again with another hidden talent of mass door painting. The before and after of the doors was gross. When you looked at them they looked like a combination of yellow/grayish/brownish/disgusting. Matt has a sprayer that he used to paint them, and did two coats of white. They look so much better I can't even believe it. After my mom saw how amazing they looked she wanted him to do more...I think 21 doors in one day is enough though. Just one more reason why he is so amazing!!! Thanks Matt!

Two more days.....

I have been getting a lot more sleep over the past week due to Matt being in Las Vegas helping his brother Mitch paint his new house, fix up some things, and hook up some appliances. My life is pretty uneventful when he is gone, I have to admit I miss him and his fun personality that always makes my day better.

A good example of why he makes me laugh....
Whenever we get a chance to go shopping I always seem to lose Matt, and then find him later dressed in some ridiculous outfit. He always acts as if everything is normal. These are two of my favorites that made me laugh so hard I had to take pictures.

He actually pulled of the skinny jeans to my surprise. Ha Ha

One time we were in Target looking for a skirt for me, and I looked around the corner, and here Matt is asking me if I like this dress he was looking at. It was so funny!

I don't know what I would do without him, my life would be so boring so you can see why I can't wait for him to get back! If any of you have some words of encouragement please send them my way :)

Andrus Reunion

I had to post about this even though I had to steal these pictures from Deb :)
Back in August I had the chance to go to the famous Andrus reunion. Its so cool everyone gets a t-shirt with everyone's name on the back. We went to Matt's grandparent's house, ate some food and played games. I wish we got a picture of the bean bag toss game because I am pretty sure we played that all day. I felt like I was actually getting pretty good at it, but for some reason Scott and Jill are still the champs. Matt can blame that on me cause he would get us all the points, and I BLEW it too many times. We will get a win one of these days. Anyways it was just a blast to meet everyone, and relax for the day. Here are a few pics from the day.

Scott, Jill, Matt, and I (apparently we weren't informed that a picture was being taken.)
Andrus Grandparents, they should be so proud of their awesome family!
Deb and Stan :)
Stan was brave enough to let these girls "go to town" on the face paint. Go Brocos!
Landon Family almost everyone is there, we missed Mitch, Sarah, Ari and little Jack!

School

School has started so I can't guarantee that I will be blogging much. That and the fact that my camera met a toddler, so its out of commission right now. Everything is going really well I have already gotten through my first week of school, and I am already used to getting up at 5:30. I joined the AAF this semester which is an advertising company, and we are going to Boise in a couple of weeks to visit some companies and help them out at a golf tournament. It should be really fun.
Dance is getting better every week I teach non competitive teams this year, but its still so much fun. The girls are so eager to learn I love it. I also have this boys class, and I can't believe the energy those little bodies have. They are so adorable. My class is filled with comments like, "Want to see what I can do" (which I now know isn't a question its more of a command) and, "are we going to play lights off dance off" otherwise known as freeze dance, and we turn off the lights and turn on christmas lights its their favorite thing to do.
Matt has been doing some serious painting at our house. The other night he got to the house at 10:30 and when I woke up for school he was just leaving. He is painting a couple rooms in the house including trim, doors, ceilings. walls. I can't believe how much better it looks.
Of course last Sunday was the first season game for the Redskins. They played the Giants in New York, so you can imagine what a tough game that was. It was a good game, and we didn't get to watch the whole thing. There were a couple fights too and thats always exciting. We didn't come out with a win, but the score was close 17-23. This sunday we are playing the Rams, hopefully we can come out with a win.

Anyways that is what is going on with me hopefully I will be able to get some pictures up soon!

Fanta, Fanta don't ya wanta

So today while Matt and I were driving to Brigham city to go to Jared's baby blessing I had that stupid fanta song stuck in my head. I couldn't, for the life of me get it out, and what is even worse is that I would be tapping my feet to the song not realizing it. A couple times Matt would ask me if I needed to use the restroom. Anyways enough about that.

Oh if you are unfamiliar with Fanta here is an idea of what the commercials are like, you can imagine how annoying the song is.

We got to the baby blessing and Jared did such a good job, and gave the sweetest blessing. Those two are such good parents I can't even believe that they have 3 kids now. Crazy. Here are some pics from the picnic we had at Kayla's parents house afterward.

My brother Devin and his wife Julie...I wish you could see her skirt it was so cute.

Natalie and Morgan, and almost all of my Dad :)
Matt...so adorable
Another thing that I had going this weekend was one of my best friend's wedding. She is such an important person to me, and she looked gorgeous, and I look similar to what Squanto's daughter might have looked like my skin looks so red! and no I haven't been tanning all summer!

After the reception Matt and I watched the Redskins last preseason game against the Jaguars. It was a good weekend to have before school started.

Random

A couple days ago Matt and I decided to go shoot some arrows. I know its way random, but I just read a book about this girl who was in a stadium and shot through an apple in a pig's mouth that was in the bleachers, so that could be the real reason. It is also possible that I really have secret Robin Hood like skills that I needed to discover. This wasn't the case, but it was really fun, and I appreciate people who can actually aim with a bow now cause by the end of the hour I could barley pull the string back. If you were wondering...Matt was automatically a pro and was even giving me pointers. Here are some pics of the day.

They give you new targets without any holes when you start off.
You can go ahead and guess which target is mine. Notice on the one below how many more holes are in it than the one even lower. I might have had a hard time hitting the actual target.

If Matt had more time with this I don't think it would take long for huge chunks to be taken out of the paper because he hit it so many times.

At least I touched the white in the middle a couple times.

Just to get an idea of how far we were from our targets.

Look at that form.

Matt of course was automatically good at it. Really what else is new if he wanted to I bet he could live in the wilderness with a bow and arrow and hunt his own food, and survive easily.

He hit the X on the bulls eye. Pretty impressive.
