Engaged! Bridal Shower

Everyone probably already has heard by now, but I just wanted to officially announce that I am engaged! It happened back in August so I am a little late :). I am just going to give a quick run down of how Matt purposed.

Matt and I were going to have dinner with his sister Jill and her husband Scott up in Rexburg because that is where "Jill wanted to go for her birthday dinner." We didn't drive up there together because Scott had to do something for work before we had dinner so they were going to leave earlier than us. When Matt and I got to the restaurant Jill and Scott joined us a little after telling us that after dinner Scott was going to need Matt to help him with some equipment. So we ate some yummy dinner and then Jill and I went to grab something at the bookstore while Matt and Scott were "loading equipment." (Funny side note was while Jill and I went to the bookstore I got asked out on a date by some random kid, little did he know what was going down that night haha)
Anyways we finally met up with all of them. Meanwhile I had no idea that anything fishy was going on, in fact I thought everyone was telling the truth! Jill and Scott took off and Matt took me to where we went on our first date which was on a rooftop of one of the buildings at BYU-Idaho. We couldn't find a way up, even though Matt already knew that, so we went for a little walk into one of the new sections of the gardens up there. As we were walking we come up to this candlelit place with pillows and a blanket. Matt had some of our favorite frozen yogurt in a cooler behind a tree. I was thinking to myself wow this is romantic good grief! I didn't think that it could be THE night because I was sure Matt hadn't asked my dad yet. Anyways we had a good little chat and the sprinklers came on. While we were gathering them up Matt asked for me to help him stand up, then pretended his knee hurt so I bend down to help him (such an idiot I know) I finally stand up and he grabs my hand and purposed. It was so cute and lets just say I was on cloud nine for a while. I couldn't take my eyes off my hand haha I am such a girl.
I am so grateful that I get to marry my best friend Matt is everything I could have asked for. He has a wonderful family that I love so much. I can't wait to begin our lives together! Love you Matt.

Matt's Photo Shoot (and Lane's Wedding)

I am the worst blogger on the planet, but I had to hurry and throw some pictures from Matt's good friend Lane's wedding. It was so much fun we love Lane and Jade so we were glad to make the trip to Utah and see them on their special day. Here are a few shots from the day.

My Spring Break in Vegas!

I know I haven't posted for so long, but with the last couple weeks of school, and dance competitions its been hard to find time to take pictures let alone blog! I had the chance to spend some time with Matt's brother, his wife Sarah and their two kids. We spent every night playing mario kart till 1 am, and we were introduced to the famous Yogurtland (which is so good!) we went there every day after that. They were kind enough to let us stay at their house for a couple nights, so thank you guys!

Ceaser's Palace!

The weirdest motorcycle I have ever seen.

Ceaser's Palace is the coolest place, Matt was my model for all of the pictures since we had no one else to take them.
Jack and Sarah such a pretty picture of them.

Is this not the cutest little face ever.

We took a little walk on Sunday, and it was so funny to watch Ari walk this dog. He would just pull her right along where ever he wanted to go.

Catching Up

Just a quick catch up on some of the fun things that I have been up to. I love hanging out with friends and family they are the people that I care about most. Get ready for a picture overload!
Rebecca and I before our Rook game, I don't even think we planned the Rook box being like that.
Eating some tasty dessert, (Matt, Doug)
I am not good at the chip game I always miss the chip. The chip game was invented by Doug one day when he swiped a chip across his mouth and bit it perfectly in half without spilling any crumbs its a lot harder than it looks. You take a chip and swipe it past your mouth (fast) and you have to bite chip in half without any crumbs falling.
I think Matt might have gotten it that time!
Doug almost getting it!
Rebecca taking a try at it.
Little Pacie at Parker's B-day party.
Presley at Parker's B-day party.
Parker and her birthday cake.
Jills purple frosting that seemed to disappear slowly every time someone walked by it.
The juicy dinner that Debbie set up for all of us candles and all!
Doug and Matt on one of our dinner and movie nights.
Little Brady just so curious about everything.
Rebecca's cookies about to go in the oven. They are my favorite its always such a treat when she makes them :)
One of my little dance groups right before we performed at a halftime.

22 years old.....

Today I got a package in the mail with a present inside from my sister Sharese. To my surprise I opened it to find...

Although I don't consider a growth on the back of my head a desirable characteristic of my hair I am still grateful for this thoughtful present that will help me improve my "flat hair" Needless to say when my hair is too flat now all I have to do is pop one of these is. Feel free to ask if you want to borrow one...I have three as you can see.

My birthday was so busy with school and dance. I was so excited when I was finally able to relax with everyone. Of course Matt made it the most special day, and had gifts for me to open throughout the day. He always remembers what I want even if I told him 2 months ago. He gave me my favorite perfume, some much needed accessories for my new camera, some new Pink sweats and some high top shoes that I wanted so bad but they were so expensive. He also treated me to a night at Lava Hot Springs were I finally could relax. Of course we had dinner at Cafe Rio and some of my family came along with Jill, Scott, Rebecca, Doug and of course Brady (there little baby boy). These people mean more than anything in the whole world to me I could never thank them enough for always supporting me and showing me they care. Deb and Stan couldn't make it, but they more than made up for it and sang me Happy Birthday each time they gave me a present. My favorite one was when they took me out to Jakers and sang to me in a whisper. I got some pretty awesome presents including a magic bullet that Jill, Rachel and Matt's parents went in on. The one present I wish I could have gotten was to hear from my little sister Whitney she would have been the ultimate present, but I just want all of you to know that you made my day an unforgettable one!

Happy New Year!

I know I am a bit late but with school starting it has been hard to have time for my blog. Here are some pictures from New Year's Eve. We went over to Jill's house and ate some yummy dinner (including pretzel jello my favorite) and then played some games while we waited for the new year. It was so fun to hang out with everyone, especially Mitch, Sarah, Ari, and little Jack because we never get to see them. Here is to the new year may everyone's be fabulous!
I had a lot of close up pictures of Jill on my camera, I am guessing that is when Scott got a hold of it :)
Matt made me a special New Year's dessert it was tasty.
Grandma and Grandpa Landon...so cute

Natalie and I went sledding with Matt's family over by the Snake River it was so fun even though I have many bruises.

Stan and Deb sporting their Emerson Sweaters, even though Stan changed after he realized they were both wearing them :)

We had a lot of late nights trying to savor every moment of the vacation.

Happy New Year!!
