22 years old.....

Today I got a package in the mail with a present inside from my sister Sharese. To my surprise I opened it to find...

Although I don't consider a growth on the back of my head a desirable characteristic of my hair I am still grateful for this thoughtful present that will help me improve my "flat hair" Needless to say when my hair is too flat now all I have to do is pop one of these is. Feel free to ask if you want to borrow one...I have three as you can see.

My birthday was so busy with school and dance. I was so excited when I was finally able to relax with everyone. Of course Matt made it the most special day, and had gifts for me to open throughout the day. He always remembers what I want even if I told him 2 months ago. He gave me my favorite perfume, some much needed accessories for my new camera, some new Pink sweats and some high top shoes that I wanted so bad but they were so expensive. He also treated me to a night at Lava Hot Springs were I finally could relax. Of course we had dinner at Cafe Rio and some of my family came along with Jill, Scott, Rebecca, Doug and of course Brady (there little baby boy). These people mean more than anything in the whole world to me I could never thank them enough for always supporting me and showing me they care. Deb and Stan couldn't make it, but they more than made up for it and sang me Happy Birthday each time they gave me a present. My favorite one was when they took me out to Jakers and sang to me in a whisper. I got some pretty awesome presents including a magic bullet that Jill, Rachel and Matt's parents went in on. The one present I wish I could have gotten was to hear from my little sister Whitney she would have been the ultimate present, but I just want all of you to know that you made my day an unforgettable one!

Happy New Year!

I know I am a bit late but with school starting it has been hard to have time for my blog. Here are some pictures from New Year's Eve. We went over to Jill's house and ate some yummy dinner (including pretzel jello my favorite) and then played some games while we waited for the new year. It was so fun to hang out with everyone, especially Mitch, Sarah, Ari, and little Jack because we never get to see them. Here is to the new year may everyone's be fabulous!
I had a lot of close up pictures of Jill on my camera, I am guessing that is when Scott got a hold of it :)
Matt made me a special New Year's dessert it was tasty.
Grandma and Grandpa Landon...so cute

Natalie and I went sledding with Matt's family over by the Snake River it was so fun even though I have many bruises.

Stan and Deb sporting their Emerson Sweaters, even though Stan changed after he realized they were both wearing them :)

We had a lot of late nights trying to savor every moment of the vacation.

Happy New Year!!

Merry Christmas

Well Christmas sure came and went fast again this year. It was so much fun to see everyone, and spend some time together. I got the chance to spend time at my house and Matt's. We didn't get to see everyone from my family but we sure missed them all! There were a lot of late nights or I guess early mornings that we stayed up just chatting. I love all the memories that we make and can't wait for another year with everyone. I love you all!

San Francisco Part II

Get ready for a ton of pictures. I finally got time to do a blog on our trip. We had such a great time every day was so fun. The food was amazing, and every night we would stop by this little ice cream place, and have some homemade ice cream that was so good. Thanks again Stan and Deb for the best trip we will remember it forever!

At Alcatraz the only place the prisoners had for fun was this. It was so depressing they said some would just stare at the city when they got to come outside.

On our Alcatraz tour.

Just watching the players warm up. The guy on the Left with the full maroon coat on is the coach.

Deb and Stan up in Coit tower.
This is Coit tower from the ground.

Up in Coit tower. You can see Alcatraz right in between us.

There was so many cool trees lit up, here is just one of them.

On our way to Alcatraz.
London Fletcher warming up.
One of Matt's favorite players, we were so close to him it was crazy!

Our second hotel room was so cool it had two bathrooms, and two TVs it was so fancy and right downtown, so you could walk right outside and go anywhere.

We went on a mini hike to Coit tower. There were almost 400 steps, and the best view.

Here is Stan and Deb coming up the steps.

San Fran bridge

Just waiting at the airport

In our first hotel, it was so cute. It had the coolest decorations and layout.
The first place we ate we got to go outside because they had heaters that kept you so warm, so we just ate and watched everyone go by it was so fun.

San Francisco!!

Here is a little teaser for the weekend in San Fran. I will have to do a full post later, but here are some pics from the trip.

Here is the famous winding road they used for horses to get down because they couldn't walk straight down the steep streets. It was so pretty.

Stan and Deb in front of these really cute reindeer by fisherman's warf.
Matt and I on the boat headed to Alcatraz.
Our first night! We ate outside under these heaters and watched everyone go by it was so fun!
We went to the game a couple hours early to watch the players warm up. I was shaking when I was taking this picture probably because I was excited/nervous. It was so cool to finally go to a game and see them all so close!

Shed.....New Camera!!

I am so excited for Christmas because I am getting the coolest camera! I am going to have to mess around with it for a while to get the hang of it, but here is a picture of Natalie that she let me take of her even though she didn't think she was ready for a photo shoot.

Matt has been working on a building a shed for his friend Tagg's parents. He never ceases to amaze me with all he knows. Here are some pictures from the progress they have had over the past week.
The got up the first truss!

Anyone need their doors painted???

My mom has been wanting Matt to paint some of the doors in the house for a while, but with Matt gone working in Las Vegas he hasn't had time. Last week he took a day, and got all 21 doors that my mom picked out. I didn't know how he was going to do them all, but of course he surprised me again with another hidden talent of mass door painting. The before and after of the doors was gross. When you looked at them they looked like a combination of yellow/grayish/brownish/disgusting. Matt has a sprayer that he used to paint them, and did two coats of white. They look so much better I can't even believe it. After my mom saw how amazing they looked she wanted him to do more...I think 21 doors in one day is enough though. Just one more reason why he is so amazing!!! Thanks Matt!
